Chocolate Avocado Mousse — Dessert Without Dairy or Eggs
Avocado in a dessert? Yes, and it’s a game-changer.
This smooth and intensely chocolatey mousse comes together in just minutes, with no dairy, no eggs, and no compromise on flavor or texture.
It’s the perfect treat for those experimenting with plant-based, low-carb, or allergen-friendly desserts, or anyone simply looking for something a little different.
Traditional chocolate mousse requires whipping egg yolks and cream, and melting chocolate — often involving a double boiler and precise timing. This version skips all of that with a simple one-bowl, one-blender method that’s faster and far less fussy.
By using avocado, cocoa powder, and a sugar-free sweetener, this mousse is naturally low in carbohydrates and free from refined sugar. Perfect for those following keto or low-carb diets.
This dessert offers a good dose of fiber, heart-healthy monounsaturated fats, and antioxidants from cocoa — all without the saturated fat of cream or the sugar overload of traditional versions. It’s also vegan, dairy-free, and egg-free.
